Video: How to earn your first 50,000 points on Khan Academy

It has been an exciting journey on Khan Academy earning my first 50,000 points.

I am 9 years old and about to turn 10 and I have been using Khan Academy in my spare time. I find it an amazing program and I have learnt so much about maths, computer programming and many other cool, interesting topics.

I now have learnt how to earn points easily and I hope to earn ½ a million points in the next 12 months. I guess this will depend on whether I get overloaded with homework or not J.

Khan Academy is an educational website created in 2006. There was a man on a mission to provide a “free world-class education for anyone anywhere”. His name was by Salman Khan and he was from New Orleans in Louisiana USA.

It began when he started tutoring his relatives. When other friends wanted similar help, he decided it would be more practical to distribute the tutorials on YouTube at www.youtube.com/khanacademy I’m glad he did!

KhanAcademySubscribers

Wow! Khan Academy has more than 1.5 million subscribers on YouTube.

There are videos on so many topics like maths, physics, chemistry, finance, computer science, logic, languages and grammar. I have spent most of my time on maths. At school I do Mathletics and the major difference is Khan Academy has real humans explaining the topic, which makes it easier to understand for me. Sometimes when I don’t understand the video, I just watch it again. Easy Peasy!

Khan Academy makes learning fun and explains topics extremely well. I’ve made a video to teach you how to use this awesome software, so…

Enjoy!
